HJ490 is a low-power transceiver for RS-485 and RS-422 communication used in harsh environments. It includes a driver and a receiver, both of which are protected against ±15KV electrostatic discharge (ESD) shocks and do not experience latch-up effects. The driver of the HJ490 has an unrestricted slew rate, allowing it to transmit at speeds of up to 2.5Mkbps. The driver is limited by short-circuit current and is protected from excessive power consumption by a thermal shutdown circuit that places the driver output in a high-impedance state. The receiver input has fail-safe functionality, ensuring a logic high output if the input is open. HJ490 is commonly used in low-power RS-485 transceivers, low-power RS-422 transceivers, level shifters, industrial control local area networks, etc. It can replace MAX490, and this product has achieved full localization.
