ISO-422/ ISO-422A isolated high-speed RS-422/485 bus transceiver

ISO-422/ISO-422A is a complete electrically isolated, high-speed RS-422/485 differential bus transceiver. It mainly consists of an oscillator, controller, switch driver, high-frequency transformer, and rectification filter forming an isolated DC/DC converter, along with a full-duplex high-speed RS-422/485 bus transmitter and receiver with enable function, complemented by corresponding interface components. This device uses a special circuit form and is packaged in a metal shell to reduce external electromagnetic interference while ensuring electrical isolation, providing excellent electromagnetic compatibility. The isolation voltage reaches up to 2500 VAC, with a maximum transmission rate of 20 Mb/s and a transmission delay of less than 85 ns, allowing for up to 32 nodes (terminals) on the bus. It features current limiting protection for transmission and thermal shutdown functionality, with a reliable operating temperature range of -55 to +105°C. Based on the high performance and functional integrity of this device, it can be widely used in harsh electrical environments or high-reliability data transmission applications in aviation, weaponry, shipping, electronic information, industrial control, etc. ISO-422A adopts a fully sealed shallow cavity metal shell package with a height of only 4.1 mm; it has good sealing properties and high mechanical strength to meet the demands of high impact and complex electromagnetic environments.
