The HJ42118 series positive voltage regulator is a thick film integrated three-terminal regulator designed for high-temperature environments. The circuit consists of a high-voltage dielectric isolated operational amplifier, power adjustment transistor, constant current source, temperature compensation reference source, anti-reverse diode, and current limiting protection network. It overcomes the disadvantages of large parasitic capacitance and significant parasitic diode leakage in monolithic integrated regulators. The improved thick film integration process avoids the defect of 'purple spots' that easily form due to gold-aluminum bonding at high temperatures, enhancing the long-term reliability of the device in high-temperature environments. Compared to foreign devices, it includes an internal anti-reverse diode that improves the device's surge resistance. The output voltage is selectable from 5 to 30V, with an output current of up to 1.0A and a maximum operating temperature of 200°C. It uses a TO-258 package that effectively reduces the thermal resistance of the device and can be directly replaced with the 42118 series circuits produced by Micropac Industries, Inc. This series of devices can be widely used in harsh environments such as oil logging and programmable power supplies.
