  Hangjing Microelectronics has launched a series of domestically produced alternative integrated circuit products. Below is an introduction to Hangjing Microelectronics HJ2541, which completely replaces OPA2541.

  HJ2541 compared to OPA2541

  1) Both are in a TO3-8 package, using low thermal resistance fixed BeO (beryllium oxide) high thermal conductivity thick film substrates to achieve dual-channel power amplification.

  2) The output current capabilities of both are comparable. However, the operating voltage of HJ2541 can only reach ±18V.

  3) The power NPN and PNP transistors of OPA2541 are both front-leaded, resulting in high Rc, high thermal resistance, and heat concentration due to chip area constraints. In contrast, HJ2541 separates amplification and power drive within the thick film circuit and uses vertical power NPN and PNP transistors, resulting in lower and more dispersed heat generation. This approach improves the reliability of the device.

  4) All materials used are domestically sourced.

  5) In a ±15V analog distribution system, both can be completely interchangeable without any modifications.

1、Overview

HJ2541 is a dual-channel power operational amplifier capable of providing up to 5A output current. It integrates two power amplifiers into a single package, offering unparalleled power density that can directly replace OPA2541 in medium voltage applications.

The use of a TO3-8 metal shell package completely isolates it from internal circuits, eliminating the need for insulators that would reduce thermal performance; it can be directly mounted on a heatsink. The internal circuit limits the output current to approximately 6A. It can be applied in fields such as motor drivers, servo amplifiers, voice coil drivers, bridge amplifiers, programmable voltage sources, audio amplifiers, etc.
