HJ321A/HJ321B consists of a full-wave phase-sensitive demodulator and an active second-order low-pass filter. Its main function is to demodulate amplitude-modulated AC signals, converting the amplified amplitude-modulated AC signal into a DC output voltage through full-wave phase-sensitive demodulation and low-pass filtering. The magnitude and polarity of the output DC voltage depend on the product of the amplitude of the input AC signal and the cosine of the phase difference between the input signal and the reference signal, and are independent of the amplitude of the reference signal.
