The HJ7660 charge pump inverter is made using a mature high-voltage Al-gate CMOS process. This device can convert an input voltage of +2.5 to +10V into an output voltage of -2.5 to -10V with just two external capacitors. It does not require inductors, reducing losses and electromagnetic interference. The circuit consists of a voltage regulator, RC oscillator, level shifting circuit, and MOS power transistors. When the supply voltage is 5V and the 7th pin is open, the internal local oscillator frequency is 10kHz. The HJ7660 is used for LCD display driving, negative power supply for RS232, data acquisition, and negative power supply for instrumentation amplifiers.
