HJ309/HJ309A Voltage Output Programmable Sensor Regulator

The HJ309/HJ309A voltage output programmable sensor is a programmable analog signal regulator specifically designed for pressure bridge sensors. The operational amplifier amplifies the sensor signal and provides digital calibration for zero point, range, zero drift, range drift, and sensor linearization error, as well as external stress (pressure, strain, etc.). Calibration is completed through a single-wire digital serial interface or a two-wire industrial standard connection. The HJ309A has a built-in 16-Kbit I2C compatible serial EEPROM that stores calibration parameters in the built-in EEPROM. The fully analog signal channel includes a 2×2 input multiplexer (mux), an auto-zero programmable gain instrumentation amplifier, linear circuits, reference voltage, internal oscillator, control logic, and an output amplifier. Programmable level offset compensates for the DC offset of the sensor and automatically resets when power failure occurs. The chip core is a precision low-drift, low-noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA), with total gain adjustable from 2.7V/V to 1152V/V. Input polarity can be switched via the input multiplexer to accommodate sensors with polar output. The fault monitoring circuit monitors conditions such as sensor over-temperature, overload, and system faults and signals alerts when these conditions occur. It can be widely used in fields such as pressure bridge sensors, remote 4mA~20mA current transmitters, remote data acquisition, industrial control, and smart sensors. It serves as a domestic alternative to the imported PGA309.
