HJ7606 8-channel, 16-bit bipolar-input synchronous sampling ADC
HJ7606 is a 16-bit, 8-channel synchronous sampling analog-to-digital converter chip. It integrates analog input clamping protection, a second-order anti-aliasing filter, a track-and-hold amplifier, a 16-bit charge‑redistribution successive‑approximation ADC, a flexible digital filter, a 2.5 V reference voltage source, a reference buffer, and high-speed serial and parallel interfaces. HJ7606 operates from a single 5 V supply and can handle true bipolar input signals of ±10 V and ±5 V; all channels support sampling rates up to 200 kSPS. Its input clamping protection circuit can withstand voltages as high as ±16.5 V. Regardless of the sampling rate, HJ7606 maintains an analog input impedance of 1 MΩ. By operating from a single supply and incorporating on-chip filtering and high input impedance, it eliminates the need for external operational amplifiers or bipolar power supplies. The anti-aliasing filter has a 3 dB cutoff frequency of 22.9 kHz and provides 40 dB of aliasing suppression at a 200 kSPS sampling rate. Additionally, its flexible digital filter, driven by dedicated pins, helps improve the signal‑to‑noise ratio.
